Growing up in an idyllic, rural upstate New York setting, David Hamm developed a knack for craftsmanship and woodworking at a young age. He built some of his first pieces out of his parent's barn and then later at local custom woodworking shops. After a few years experience, he quickly rose to the level of master craftsman. He later gained invauable managerial experience as the shop supervisor for custom furniture shops throughout western New York, while simultaneously building custom pieces out of his own shop, which he designed and built himself as well. Once David decided to venture out on his own with David's Woodworking, he has never looked back. Since opening the doors for business full time in 2005, he and his employees have built over $250,000 worth of furniture and architectural woodworking.
